ANIMALS TEST

Recordatorio: los alumnos y alumnas deben entregar el proyecto de ART el viernes, como se detalla en la entrada anterior del blog (ya se lo hemos recordado a ellos también).

El miércoles de la próxima semana tendrán la ficha especial sobre el bloque de animales (unidad 13 de ENGLISH y unidad 3 de NATURAL science).

En la unidad de inglés, el punto gramatical tiene que ver con los comparativos en inglés (fast --> faster than), mientras que el vocabulario está relacionado con los animales.

En la unidad de Natural, es importante que sepan diferenciar entre carnívoros, herbívoros y omnívoros; ovíparos y vivíparos y que conozcan la clasificación siguiente con sus características (para así poder deducir a qué grupo pertenece un animal cuando lo vean):

VERTEBRATES have got a skeleton.
MAMMALS	They have got hair and fur. Viviparous (babies drink mum’s milk). They live in different habitats and move in different ways.
BIRDS	Oviparous (hard eggs). They have got wings, feathers and a beak.
FISH	They live underwater. They breath using gills. They have got scales and fins. Oviparous (soft eggs).
REPTILES	Hard and dry skin. They have got scales. Oviparous (hard eggs).
AMPHIBIANS	Soft and moist skin They can breath in and out of the water.
INVERTEBRATES haven’t got a skeleton
ARTHROPODS	They have got an exoskeleton: it’s like an armour (como una armadura). They have got a segmented body.
MOLLUSCS	They have got a very soft body, like a jelly (como gelatina) Sometimes they have got a shell too.
